A Couple of Cinema 4D Python Updates
Hangover
Having finished development on Zerostreet's iPhone app, I decided to jump back on Hangover. For those unfamiliar with the plugin, Hangover is a python plugin that alerts you, puts your computer to sleep or shuts down your computer after a Cinema 4D batch render completes. However...
I have now upgraded the plugin to version 1.5 and it includes email notifications! I still need to work out a few kinks so I will be uploading new versions to the server as soon as I work them out. If you have downloaded Hangover, thank you!! If you break it or catch any bugs, please send me an email letting me know what issues you are encountering.
I plan to add a few more features that I think will be useful and might retool the UI again. I should be releasing an updated version soon. I also plan to release a windows version. Since it is python, you would think it would be cross-platform but I'm using some osascript in the code and a windows system would barf it right out. It's coming so stay tuned!
CenterCut
In addition, I have also created a super simple python script to toggle on and off the 16:9 center crop marks and turn up the opacity on the borders in Cinema 4D. You can open up the script and modify to your liking. I have also included the C.O.F.F.E.E version for those running Cinema 4D 11.5 or earlier. This one should run on both Mac and Windows.
